Harvard Law School professor Roberto Unger, making a case that the supreme ruler is bad for the goals of the Democratic party, states unequivocally that his former student, Barack Obama, “must be defeated.” It’s taken a grueling 3-plus years for Obama’s intentionally hidden past to slowly come to light. But we’re getting there. We know he lied about his birthplace, claiming it was Kenya or Hawaii depending on what suited his needs. We know that he once ate dog as a meal and that he was a regular stoner. Several months ago Breitbart.com obtained a video, intentionally hidden by Obama supporters in 2008 and content-edited by the media thereafter, that demonstrates Obama was bent toward racial-injustice radicalism during his college years. Most recently, we learned he was interested in infiltrating and re-defining the Democratic party as a member of the far-left New Party during it’s existence in the 1990′s. And now, a law professor proclaims his former pupil has gotten it wrong, and needs to be put out.
“President Obama must be defeated in the coming election.” Unger states at the 6:10 mark of his video.
Why the denouncement?
Politically progressive, the professor feels the supreme ruler has abandoned the progressive cause. “He has failed to advance the progressive cause in the United States. He has spent trillions of dollars to rescue the money interests and left workers and homeowners to their own devises.”
Further, apparently not impressed with Obama’s conviction, the professor slams Obama’s political courage. “He has subordinated the broadening of economic and educational opportunities to the important but secondary issue of access to healthcare, in the mistaken belief that he would be spared a fight. He has disguised his surrender with an empty appeal for tax justice. His policy is financial confidence and food stamps. He has evoked a politics of hand-holding. But no one changes the world without a struggle.”
An empty appeal for tax justice? Food stamps and hand-holding? Sounds a lot like what conservatives have been saying.
Speaking to an assumed Democratic audience, Professor Progressive admits “there will be a cost” to defeating Obama (thus installing a Republican president), but implies those costs are preferable to a second term of Obama, and therefore, it is in the best interests of the Democratic party to defeat Obama in November.
Conservatives know Obama is bad for the country and enlightened Democrats know he’s bad for their party. If both sides work together and spread the word, it should be a rout.
So enlightened Democrats, I’d like to welcome you to the team.
